synopsis
Charlie Bucket lives in a small house on the edge of town with his loving family and very little money. Across the street towers the mysterious Wonka Chocolate Factory, long closed to the public but legendary for its extraordinary inventions. When Willy Wonka announces that five golden tickets hidden inside chocolate bars will grant children a tour of the factory, Charlie unexpectedly becomes one of the lucky winners. Inside, he discovers a world of bizarre candy creations, strange workers, and moral tests that reveal far more about the visitors than the factory itself.
