Anna Faris is the MVP. Her total commitment elevates material that often sinks into shock-for-shock’s-sake territory.
The problem? It relies heavily on reference humor. Once the cultural moment passes, some jokes lose oxygen. And it opened the floodgates to a decade of increasingly lazier spoof films.
There’s sharpness here. But it’s uneven.
