mini-review

Created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, this animated musical satire turns the crude television series into a surprisingly ambitious big-screen comedy. Beneath the outrageous humor lies a sharp critique of censorship and moral panic. Packed with catchy songs and relentless jokes, the film became one of the most memorable animated comedies of the late 1990s.

Pizza, a couple of beers, and the mood for gleefully offensive satire.

Absurdist's Corner

A global war erupts because children saw a dirty movie… which is actually not the most unrealistic political scenario imaginable.
