mini-review
The Batman takes a different approach to the familiar superhero formula, leaning heavily into detective noir rather than pure spectacle. Robert Pattinson’s brooding interpretation of the character emphasizes Batman’s role as a flawed investigator navigating a corrupt city. The film’s rain-soaked visuals and slow-burn mystery give it a distinct atmosphere, even if the nearly three-hour runtime occasionally tests the viewer’s patience.
A rainy evening, dim lights, and the kind of mood where a slow, brooding crime story feels just right.
Absurdist's Corner
Despite dressing like a bat and stalking criminals at night, Batman somehow manages to blend into crime scenes with the police as if this were perfectly normal procedure.
fun facts
