synopsis
Lucy and Edmund Pevensie return to Narnia with their skeptical cousin Eustace when a magical painting pulls them into the sea aboard the ship Dawn Treader. Joining King Caspian on a voyage across mysterious islands, they search for seven lost lords while confronting strange magical threats. Along the journey, each traveler must face personal fears and temptations as the quest draws them closer to the edge of Narnia’s world.

Lewis’s novel while emphasizing themes of courage, redemption, and self-discovery. Though less epic than the earlier films, it has a lighter, more whimsical tone and introduces one of the series’ most entertaining characters in the perpetually annoyed Eustace.
