mini-review
This is tight, intelligent blockbuster filmmaking. Harrison Ford plays desperation without theatrics. Tommy Lee Jones steals scenes with dry authority. The film balances procedural detail with propulsive pacing — and never once insults the audience. It’s smart action, the kind they barely make anymore.
Absurdist's Corner
A cardiothoracic surgeon becomes a master of disguise, urban evasion, and investigative journalism overnight. Also, Chicago’s entire infrastructure appears conveniently navigable by sewer.
fun facts
