synopsis
Four estranged brothers return to their Texas hometown for their mother’s funeral, only to discover that their once-respected father died disgraced and their family ranch was lost under suspicious circumstances. The eldest, John Elder (John Wayne), quickly suspects corruption behind the land transfer, and the brothers unite to restore their family’s honor.
